The idea for Penal originated in our shared office space in Groningen. For several years, we organized football pools during major tournaments like the Euros or World Cup, and they were hugely successful. The excitement and enjoyment these pools brought were fantastic. And because we made it very simple, everyone could participate.
That's how the idea to digitize the pool came about. Of course, we looked at existing options, but soon we were convinced that it could be more fun, easier, and nicer. With our background in digital design and app development, we decided to give this idea a chance, and that's how Penal was born!
The Euro 2024 is our debut and currently the only competition you can participate in, but we are determined to expand Penal. Therefore, we are incredibly curious about your feedback and suggestions. So come join us, predict along, and let's make a fantastic Euro Cup together!
